Golden Lion Hotel, Hunstanton

A young girl has been seen around the hotel, most notably in one of the bedrooms. On that occasion, the girl appeared during the night at the end of a guest's bed. There have also been periodically reports of poltergeist like activities.
The building was originally known as New Inn, but when the railway came to Hunstanton in 1862 a scheme was hatched to turn New Hunstanton into a seaside resort. A London architect was brought in to develop the inn and turn it into the Golden Lion Hotel. Since 1984 is has been a Grade II listed building.
It has undergone refurbishment in recent years and is a pleasant place to stop in for food or a drink if you don't fancy spending the night with the ghost!
